About me

Dr Anwar is a substantive Consultant Physician in Respiratory Medicine and General Medicine at the East Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dr Anwar’s position also involves training doctors, third year medical students, physician associates and work experience students. He offers a range of procedures including USS guided central line insertions, chest drains, pleural biopsy, indwelling pleural catheter insertion, bronchoscopy and medical thoracoscopy.
