GLH Takes To The Sky Sponsoring The UK’s Top Drone Photographer

One of the UK’s top drone photographers, Lancashire based Sean O’Donoghue, is
embarking on a photography adventure around the UK with his young family, following sponsorship from Greater Lancashire Hospital, to create memories of a lifetime.

After coming across Sean’s crowdfunding story via social media we decided to support him in sponsoring 10% of his fundraising figure, and collaborate on his unique skill set in capturing the development, construction, and completion of the upcoming expansion of Greater Lancashire Hospital, which will see the current site double in size!

Sean, who is a well-known face in Lancashire after taking up aerial drone photography 5 years ago and building up a loyal social media following from his work in the area, is taking his young family of 7 on the road in the coming weeks, touring around the country in a large caravan to experience an adventure. He will be photographing destinations of their journey to form a very special hardback book, in the vibrant style he has become known for, to show the beauty of the country from a new perspective.

Sean commented

“Life is so precious, you never know what lies around the corner. My wife is a teacher and whilst our children are young we plan to home educate them for the next year or so whilst giving them the chance of new experiences. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been asked if I’ll ever produce a book featuring my aerial images. That thought certainly has crossed my mind a lot, but then I thought why not go all out and produce something to really be proud of.

When Greater Lancashire Hospital offered to help sponsor our journey it seemed like a great partnership and I felt they really understood and supported my goal of creating something special, whilst also creating memories with my family.”

Chris Chadwick, Commercial Director of Bespoke Healthcare added

“As an independently owned hospital, supporting other businesses and people within our community is important to us and plays an essential part of how we operate as a company. We are great believers in people pushing boundaries, as this is very much how the medical industry develops and brings about the innovations of the future, and we’re delighted to be supporting Sean in both his business and personal quest.”
